I am Kaare Wieneke, the proud owner of Bethesda Boards. For over a decade, we have been deeply committed to fostering a vibrant community space focused on skateboarding, music, and the arts. Our vision was born out of a simple wish – to provide a haven for skaters and music lovers in an area where no public skate parks exist. The ramps at our shop have always been open to everyone, free of charge, as a testament to our dedication to this community.

However, our journey to expand and transform into "The Alley" – a new, inclusive venue for music, skateboarding, and art – has proven to be more challenging and costly than initially expected. We find ourselves at a pivotal moment, requiring additional support to bring this vision fully to life.

Your contribution will play a crucial role in helping us navigate the final stages of this transition. Specifically, funds will be allocated towards the completion of architectural, electrical, and plumbing plans, the construction of two new ADA-compliant bathrooms, and ensuring that our venue meets all regulatory approvals to operate safely and effectively.
